What to do about Nervous Teeth?

Nervous Teeth

I’ve been thinking about the future of Nervous Teeth, if it even has one. Talked with Rod yesterday over IM and asked him if he was interested in coming back and recording a new show every once in a while.

He was less then enthusiastic, and I have to say it was a little like “pulling teeth” to get a straight answer out if him. He was extremely reluctant to commit to anything, or to give me a definite NO on the proposition.

What got me thinking was that in its heyday Nervous Teeth was a very popular show, and even though we had a ton of listeners, we unfortunately made zero money from it, mainly form short sightedness and miss management.

So it was a little strange when Rod mentioned the “NO MONEY” fact during our talk, and then said that if I was “really” serious about doing the show again, we should talk…

Meaning Negotiate..?

My feeling is that he really does not want to do the show, and was never really comfortable doing it anyway, but because teeth was so popular he is willing to come back under “certain” conditions.

This blows.

So I’m not sure how to proceed?

I could:

1. End the show/site completely and move on to other things

2. Talk with Rod, and negotiate.

3. Get a new co-host and start fresh.

4. Do the show solo.

Decisions, Decisions…

Discs and time...

Blu Ray

I’ve been buying way to many discs lately.  Not that this is anything new for me as I’ve seemingly amasted a vast collection of DVD’s over the years, and now my Blu Ray collection is becoming increasinly healthy.

Owning great movies and TV shows has always been a passion of mine, way back in the mid 1980’s I had a Betamax video recorded which I used until it stopped working, and collected a pile of beta tapes over the years.  Its been the same story with VHS, Laserdisc, DVD and now Blu Ray…

I’m really not complaining about my collecting habbits as I love it, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to watch the discs I’m purchasing,  which is driving me crazy!

As of right now I have these discs lined up to be watched:

Children of the Stones (Classic 70’s supernatural kids show) - DVD

From Earth to the Moon (HBO Box Set) - DVD

Quatermass (1980 version) - DVD

Torchwood: Children of the Earth - Blu Ray

Waynes World - Blu Ray

Waynes World 2 - Blu Ray

The Arrival - Blu Ray

Master and Commander… - Blu Ray

And I’m about to purchase Watchmen on Blu Ray too!

I need some movie watching time…
